The further product portfolio includes also cranes, lifesaving equipment, winches and handling equipment. A worldwide service network including supply of spare parts ensures fast and professional onsite support. Function: In the function of Naval Architect you take the lead in design and engineering of GRP RIB’s and open boats up to 12m. The structural engineering of composite parts conform class or ISO norms. Make the basic engineering and integration of outfitting in newly developed GRP boats. You are in lead in design of GRP products and associated plugs and molds (coordination of drafting work by our VN based detail engineers). Development of production method improvements and support in implementation of production improvements. Support to production shop floor on production methods and prototype building
Qualifications: For this challenging function as a Naval Architect you have a Higher Technical education (HTS) or a Technical University level in ship/yacht design / marine engineering or naval Architecture. Relevant experience in GRP (Fiberglass) boat design and production is a demand. Broad all-round knowledge of naval architecture aspects and general setup of propulsion and auxiliary systems on boats under 15m. Experience working with 3D CAD software such as inventor, Rhinoceros 3D. Because of the international company presents Dutch and English spoken and in writing is necessary.
